At Clinton English, we go beyond language education by offering a unique Job Hub for new arrival students. This initiative connects our students with part-time job opportunities, allowing them to immerse themselves in local culture while enhancing their language skills in real-world settings. By working in the community, students gain valuable work experience, build confidence in communication, develop cultural understanding, and create meaningful connections. It’s a practical and enriching way to complement their academic journey and make the most of their time with us. With the Job Hub, we are committed to ensuring our students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
The Job Hub is organised in collaboration with a third party. The coordination is managed by our sister school, the Clinton Institute, through its Work Placement Coordinator and Student Support Team. By sharing resources, we provide Clinton English students with the following benefits:
Assistance with applying for a Tax File Number (TFN) and familiarising students with their rights and responsibilities as employees and students.
Guidance on resume preparation and skills development for job applications.
Workshops designed to improve job-related skills.
Referrals for casual or part-time job opportunities (unqualified roles only) in the Hospitality and Aged Care industries for students who are ready and willing to work.
The Job Hub is exclusively available to current students of Clinton English.
To join, please register your details via [this FORM]. Our team will contact you individually to provide customised support.
